Photographing Waterfalls on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail

One if the items on my long list of locations to visit this summer was a return visit to the waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales around Ingleton. I've previously briefly visited the Thornton Force waterfall after a morning on Twisleton Scar and have since then wanted to take a better look at the the other waterfalls on the Ingleton Trail.

The waterfall trial is a great day out and the walk in total can take between 3 and 5 hours depending on fitness and the number of photo stops. I undertook the walk anticlockwise and thoroughly enjoyed the day hiking through the woodland and country lanes which take you up and around the trail. There are many places to photograph on the route but I have tried to stick to photographs of the main falls for this roundup.

I have a popular blog post with a list of waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales to which I have added the newest images. I still have a long list of waterfalls to visit in the dales but intend to make a trips to many of these over the summer.
