Kilt Rock waterfall is a well visited tourist attraction on the Isle of Skye loop, the sea cliffs known as Kilt Rock stand at 55 metrestall and comprise of dolerite rock strata naturally forming many different colours and can be seen to the rear of this photograph. The waterfall most commonly know as Kilt Rock waterfall is formed from the water of Loch Mealt which spectacularly tumble over the sea cliff. There is now a very good and safe viewing platform allowing you to get close to the cliff edge to view the falls.
